It can be used to design and analyze almost all manner of complicated electronic circuits. The purpose of this lab assignment is to familiarize students with the use of PSpice. To start: After installation, your Program folder should contain the PSpice software.

Open active workspace in Orcad Family Release 9.
Draw the given circuit. Create a New Simulation Profile. Select Time Domain as Analysis Type.
Set appropriate Run to time and click OK. Run the simulation.
To see the variation of output voltage with input voltage change the Analysis Type to DC Sweep and increase the sum of the input with time to observe the change in output.
Enable the Bias Point Voltages to see the voltage value at every node.
This enables us to view the input and output voltage without actually looking at the transient curves. For the inverting adder, the output is the negative sum of the input voltages provided the resistances connected with the voltage sources and the feedback resistance are all equal.
To start: After installation, your Program folder should contain the PSpice software. This will launch the Capture application. Now, to begin, you must create a new Project.
Name your project and directory you want it to be saved to and click OK. Now, upon confirming your selection by clicking on the OK button, another choice will appear. This prompts you as to whether you would like to create a new Project based on a previous Project. For this case, select Create a blank project 4.
Now, this will bring up the Capture schematic graphics window, as in Figure 5. This will now allow you to actually draw a circuit with electronic components that can be individually adjusted for their properties. We are ready to begin designing. First, the Ground potential reference point is a circuit node or in the Place menu. We want to Place this node in our circuit.
So, you may reach this by pointing to the Place menu. Now, click on Ground, and you will see the Ground dialog box. Click on the Add Library button and select the source library from the PSpice folder.
After returning to the dialog box you should see the Libraries highlighted as shown. Then, click on OK and you will now find that there is a Ground symbol attached to your mouse Cursor.
Place this by clicking with the left mouse button. Then, click with the right mouse button.
If you are not careful here, you will accidentally create 3 two ground terminals one will have to be deleted by right clicking on the part and deleting it. Now, we will add a conductor Wire to our circuit.
Again, proceed to the Place menu, select Wire, and this will now create a drawing tool. You may create the wire by placing the mouse cursor on the terminal at the top of the Ground symbol and then holding down the left mouse button while dragging the mouse cursor upwards as you can see this is the standard Windows drawing paradigm so this will be familiar to you.
Now, we must start to add Resistor and Source components. To obtain and Place these parts we again navigate to the Place menu. Générez les fichiers du design.
